In response to our call for face book friends Dr. (Mrs) K.A.L.Dilani Secretary and Mr. Nilantha Somasiri Committee Member of the Foundation donated 500 exercise books to be distributed among 100 students living at most under privileged area of Madana, Damana in the District of Ampara in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka, at the world children’s day celebration organized by the Divisional Secretariat of Ampara. Shown in the picture is the occasion where the school books were handed over to the Rev. Unapana Ariyadhamma Thero the Director General of the Arogya Foundation for the Disabled - Sri Lanka by Dr. K.A.L.Dilani , attached to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital and Mr. Nilantha Somasiri an executive attached to the Hatton National Bank to be presented at the ceremony scheduled for the 5th of October, 2013 to mark the World children’s day in Ampara. |
